Because of the weather and rough seas Sea Angel has been out of the water for yearly maintenance while we had the opportunity.

James Baker, family, and friends caught a big wahoo and a few king mackerel.

 Mike Rounds and family had a fun day out on the water. They caught a lot of fish including some mahi, an amberjack, and some skipjacks.

Mike Hoffman and family had a good day of fishing.

Our charter with William Napier and friends was an incredible day on the water. They caught a limit of mahi and released a sailfish early in the day. The catch also included five bonito and three wahoo. In all they caught well over 100 fish in one day!

The Swans only fished one hour and a half and caught enough for supper.

What a beautiful morning for an inshore fishing charter. Will Meeker and his children had lots of fun catching ish mackerel and bluefish.

What an awesome fishing charter! Dan Williams and family caught some mahi, a bonito and some nice wahoo. One of the wahoo in the foreground was eaten by a big barracuda!

Ken Yoger’s sons wanted to see their father catch the blue marlin that he had been trying for years to catch so they decided to forgo the meat fishing. Ken got his blue marlin release and we still caught some mahi and a big wahoo!

We had a fun inshore half day charter with a nice catch of bluefish for John Morris and family.

Peyton and his father Gene had a good catch of mahi on a day filled with lots of lightning and rain storms offshore.

Lou Sprout on extreme right fought a huge Blue Marlin and bad luck caused it to break the line. She is 84 yrs old. I'll bet that is a record.

Bill Ritter and family caught a lot of ish mackerel on their half day inshore charter trip.

Ken Worley and family had a beautiful day on the ocean.

KC and Jeremiah caught these in two hours and decided they were enough. They had a business meeting to attend.

Mike, Kathy, Ricky and Jim had an excellent day with a great catch of mahi. This was Ricky and Jim’s first ever time offshore. That’s not a bad way to start out.

Fred Schoellier, father and children gets the toughness award. The seas were 6 ft all day and fishing was tough but they stayed with it.

Ron, Bob, John and Dick had a good day fishing with some really nice mahi and tuna. The fish are active and the weather has been awesome.

Bruce, Kevin, Dog and Melba had a good day of big jacks and mahi.

Some good friends of mine (Bob and Melba) and I decided to do some marlin fishing and ended up with a fantastic catch of big mahi.

We had a group of wind surfers down from Quebec City for a ½ day charter today that enjoyed catching a few for the skillet.

The spring fishing season has begun. There is a mixed bag with yellowfin tuna, blackfin tuna, wahoo, and mahi. There have even been reports of white marlin and blue marlin in the trolling spreads of other Hatteras charter boats.
